Victoria University Vice Chancellor Dr. Lawrence Muganga, is a free man after his release from detention on Friday evening.
Dr Muganga was reportedly arrested on Thursday from his office by Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) operatives.
Military Spokesperson Col. Ronald Kakurungu said that Dr. Muganga had been arrested over illegal stay in the country and espionage activities.
