Alliott Global Alliance (‘AGA’) has expanded into Uganda’s law firm market by appointing award-winning law firm, KTA Advocates (KTA) in Kampala, to its membership.
Founded in 1979, Alliott Global Alliance is an international alliance of 220 independent law, accounting, and specialist advisory member firms in 95 countries. “Exhibiting its expertise, the firm continues to successfully provide advisory services including corporate governance, project finance, international trade, dispute resolution & arbitration, tax finance, civil & commercial litigation, employment, real estate & property, security trustee services and estate planning and asset and wealth management,” reads a statement from the Alliott Global Alliance, announcing the development.
“KTA’s affiliation (to AGA) ensures clients now have access to a full range of legal, compliance and advisory services in Uganda with AGA’s accounting member Tervuren GMS providing additional support in the form of audit and accounting services,” adds the statement.
Commenting on the affiliation, Asmahaney Saad, the KTA Managing Partner and Head of the firm’s Corporate, Commercial and Projects Department, said joining AGA and being their legal representative for Uganda, is “a great honour for us and through membership, our profile has been given heightened visibility”.
