Sumin Namaganda appointed UDB’s Manager Corporate Affairs

Sumin Namaganda Musinguzi has been appointed the new Manager Corporate Affairs at Uganda Development Bank (UDB).

“In her new role, Sumin will be accountable for the Bank’s communication function,” UDB says, adding:

“She will lead the design and implementation of a vast array of interventions to enhance the Bank’s visibility and brand health whilst also ensuring active engagement with key stakeholders and the public.”

She joins UDB from Airtel Uganda where she has been the Public Relations and Corporate Social Responsibility Lead.

While at Airtel Uganda, her role entailed maintaining a solid reputation for Airtel Uganda through comprehensive and strategic communication approaches for both internal and external audiences.  

Sumin is an accomplished Communications Specialist with 12 combined years of experience in communications, public relations and journalism in Fast Moving Consumer Goods and telecommunications.

Sumin holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and Management and a Bachelor’s in communication skills both from Makerere University Kampala.

She did a project centred course in Business Strategy in Practice that encompasses Strategic Planning and Execution, Business Growth Strategy, Foundations of Business Strategy and Advanced Business Strategy – University of Virginia – United States.

She has also pursued courses in entrepreneurship from the Universita Bocconi, Milan, Italy and project planning/management from the University of Virginia, US.
