The UK headquartered global charity, Save the Children UK has named Dr Nataliey Bitature a member of the Women’s Network and as well as its African Advisory Board.
The UK Women’s Network forms part of Save the Children UK’s global female philanthropic movement, ONE HUNDRED STRONG, which was created to connect women who are passionate about girls’ empowerment and gender equality, as well as fundraising for the newly established Girls’ Impact Fund.
“We’re pleased to announce Dr Nataliey Bitature as our newest member of both the UK Women’s Network and the Africa Advisory Board,” Save the Children UK announced on their LinkedIn page.
Explaining her appointment, Save the Children UK said that Dr Nataliey had been chosen for her outspoken advocacy for youth and women’s empowerment, through her organization, HER, an online mentorship platform with over 3,000 women from diverse backgrounds.
“Dr. Nataliey’s commitment to philanthropy and her business experience will be a great addition to the Africa Advisory Board,” Save the Children UK said, adding: “Composed of individuals passionate about our work across the Continent, the Africa Advisory Board plays an integral part in supporting our nurturing strategic and long-lasting relationships with African philanthropists.”
Dr Nataliey Bitature is currently the Chief of Staff at The Simba Group and has been recognised by Forbes 30 Under 30, The World Bank, The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and World Economic Forum as a business leader and innovator.
Simba Group is hospitality; media/communications, agriculture, energy and real estate conglomerate, founded by billionaire entrepreneur, Patrick Bitature.
Nataliey is also a director of Project 500K, a youth empowerment programme that aims at helping young Ugandans become entrepreneurs.
Recently Nataliey was named by UK’s Hult International Busines School amongst its most notable Alumni.
