Richard Byarugaba’s NSSF contract renewed, Patrick Ayota appointed new Deputy MD

The minister of Finance Matia Kasaija has renewed the contract of NSSF Managing Director Richard Byarugaba, re-appointing him for a 5 years contract effective 1st December 2017.

Richard Wejuli Wabwire has also had his contract as the Fund’s Corporation Secretary renewed with a new 5 years tenure starting on 30th October 2017.

In a related development, Patrick Ayota who until today has been serving as the fund’s chief finance officer has been appointed as the new deputy MD, replacing Geraldine Ssali Busuulwa who is now set to leave at the end of this month. Geraldine Ssali became NSSF’s deputy managing director in 2011.
