Uganda Baati Limited, a member of the Safal Group, has unveiled cutting-edge stone-coated steel roof tiles under the brand name Lifestile®. This revolutionary stone-coated steel roof tile combines light weight, durability, aesthetic appeal, and unparalleled performance, thus redefining the standards of premium and excellence in roofing solutions.

The State Minister of Urban Development, Honorable Kania Mario Obiga, officiated the event at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Commenting about the significance of the new product, George Arodi, the CEO of Uganda Baati said: “We understand the significance of reliability and durability when it comes to building solutions; we have won many awards for the same, and that’s why we have poured our expertise and passion into bringing Lifestile®, premium stone-coated steel roof tiles.”

He said that what makes the product remarkable, was its “ability to withstand extreme weather conditions, the material is non-combustible, ensuring protection from any fires.”

“Lifestile® stone coated steel roof tiles are eight times lighter than clay or concrete tiles meaning less strain on the structure, and an easier, faster, and more affordable construction process. This is in addition to its attractive appearance that has a premium finishing and design to satisfy the most discerning homeowner,” Arodi explained.

Commenting on the environmental friendliness of the stone-coated roof tiles, Dr. Alan Shonubi, the Uganda Baati Board Chairperson said “The launch of the Lifestile® brand comes in at a time we are strongly pushing the message of sustainability through green manufacturing. Green building is an effort to amplify the positive and mitigate the negative of these effects throughout the entire life cycle of a building.
