Acclaimed Kenyan transformational speaker and coach, Dr. Robert Burale is coming to Kampala, for an inspirational evening of what organisers say will be “life-changing conversations.”
Dr. Burale, who is also a much-sought-after public speaker, public relations and marketing specialist, business consultant, author and gospel minister, will be speaking about personal and career transformation this Thursday, 25th November 2022, at Kampala Serena Hotel, starting at 5:30 pm.
He is also the founder of the Naked Truth Movement, whose aim is to address real-life challenges that people go through silently affecting marriages and families, which in turn has a negative effect on society.
He coaches individuals, groups and organisations on various areas of life “that affect the whole persona and more in areas most people would avoid addressing.”
According to his profile, he is also one of the most sought-after corporate trainers in different work fields such as enhancing performance, customer care, effective public relations, personal branding, personal and product presentation, work ethics and integrity, work-life balance, synchronising passion and career for better results, as well as enhancing unity and teamwork at the workplace, power of work synergy, and emotional intelligence.
Some of the corporate companies and government institutions which have benefited from his training include Safaricom Limited, Optiven Limited, Unilever Kenya, Commercial Bank of Africa (now NCBA Bank), EPZ Cussons, Kenya National Highway Authority and the Higher Education Loans Board among others.
“You’ve often heard that success is not a sprint – it’s a marathon. As such, this marathon that we’re all running requires us to have a killer combination of endurance, fitness, self-awareness and motivation,” he says, about the importance of coaching and mentorship.
Dr. Burale is a firm believer that motivation is something everyone has inside of them and that individuals are the biggest controllers and determinants of their personal growth and development.
“Motivation is not an outward phenomenon, but something that stirs up from within. Understanding this simple, yet life-changing concept is actually the first step towards proper personal development,” he says.
The Kampala event is organised by Pepe Minambo, an Organizational Culture Transformation Consultant and Managing Partner, at Motivation Hub.
Speaking about the theme and topic for this Thursday’s event, Dr. Burale, said that he looks forward to having, honest but hard conversations about issues that block individual thought paths and there deter or delay personal growth.
“If you feel that, your life or career is not moving as it should; if you feel you are living an unfulfilled work or life balance, if you do not find joy and inward happiness in your career, beyond salary, this evening is for you,” he said.
“We’re going to have some very hard script-changing conversations. Our end goal is upward mobility and personal fulfilment. I am ready for you, I hope you are also already,” Dr. Burale said in an interview with CEO East Africa Magazine.
According to the organisers, a table of 10 people will go for a special price of UGX900,000.
