President Yoweri Museveni has today appointed new Permanent Secretaries notable among whom is Dr Ramathan Ggoobi who has been appointed Permanent Secretary Ministry of Finance, replacing Keith Muhakanizi who will serve in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Former NSSF deputy managing director Geraldine Ssali is PS Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives while Robert Kasande is PS Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs replacing Pius Bigirimana who is now Secretary to the Judiciary.
Elsewhere, Beti Kamya has been appointed Inspector General of Government while former Deputy IGG Mariam Wangadya is Head of Uganda Human Rights Commission.
Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation formerly headed by Dr Elioda Tumwesigye has been retired and abolished
