Kampala Parents School has emerged the overall winner of the 2019 Ruparelia Group of companies Annual Sports Gala with 475 points.
Rosebud Ltd, the Group’s flower exporting company emerged the second with 395 points followed by Speke Resort Munyonyo which scored 390 points.
The Group’s 4th Annual Gala held on April 7th 2019, attracted about 800 participants and was held at Kampala International School Uganda. The companies participated in sports disciplines including football, wheelbarrow race, athletics, egg and spoon race, sack race, tug of war and scrabble among others.
Ruparelia Group is one of Uganda’s largest business conglomerates with investments in financial services, real estate, education services, hospitality, agriculture and media/broadcasting.
Speaking at the long day Gala, Sheena Ruparelia, said the event is aimed at promoting team work physical fitness and good relationship amongst group employees and encouraged staff to leverage such events to showcase their unique talents.
