Meera Investment Limited’s project to construct 360 high-end serviced apartments at Kabira Country Club has entered into its final phase.

With structural works nearing completion, the project is now entering “the finishing phase” according to Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, the Chairman and Founder of Ruparelia Group.

Project construction started in August 2019.

Meera Investments is a subsidiary of the Group. Founded in 1994, and part of billionaire businessman Sudhir Ruparelia’s Ruparelia Group, Meera Investments Limited has emerged as Uganda’s largest developer and provider of high-quality, and sustainable retail, office, industrial and residential real estate infrastructure.

Located just next to Kabira Country Club, one of the Ruparelia Group’s major hotels, the apartment project consists of one, two and three-bedroom serviced apartments. Altogether, including two levels of underground parking- the project totals up to 100,000 square metres of built-up space.

At the project’s groundbreaking, in 2019, Dr. Sudhir Ruparelia, told CEO East Africa Magazine that the fully furnished apartments shall be built to British standards.

“They will have a fully fitted modern kitchen, double glazed soundproofed windows, LED flat-screen TVs with customized sets of channels, complimentary high-speed Wi-fi internet, air conditioning, ample parking space and 24-hour security, amongst many other modern amenities,” he said.

He also said that the self-catering apartments were mainly targeted at the corporate, leisure and family travellers’ segments and shall be open to both short and long-term clients.
