COVID-19: IMF is looking at saving lives, keeping livelihoods International Monetary Fund (IMF) last week approved a disbursement of USD491.5 million (UGX1.87 trillion) under the Rapid Credit Facility to help Uganda deal with the effects of Covid-19. The IMF Resident Representative in Uganda, Ms. Clara Mira talked to NTV Uganda’s Arnold Segawa about the facility, what it is supposed to do and Uganda’s debt situation.
