Case Hospital appoints Herbert Mukoza new chief operating officer

Herbert Mukoza, the new Chief Operating Officer for Case Hospital

Case Hospital in Kampala, has appointed Herbert Mukoza as the new chief operating officer with effect from July 1, 2022.

“We’re confident that with his experience in the health industry, constant customer focus, strategic management, proven record of delivery and all your support, Mr. Mukoza is ideally placed to lead Case Hospital to achieve its strategic objectives,” says the hospital’s CEO Dr A Kato Sebbaale in a statement.

Herbert Mukoza is an experienced business leader with a career span of over 20 years in senior Management in Healthcare and Telecommunication industries with a proven track record of improving businesses efficiently and effectively and extracting high growth. He is also an expert in Business strategy, organisational culture,
Budgeting, Operations, Sales and Marketing.

He has worked with both local and international brands and his previous work assignment was General Manager –IAA Healthcare. IAA Healthcare was the leading HMO with over 65,000 members.

Herbert holds a Business Administration Degree (Marketing), Post graduate Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing and pursuing a Global Executive MBA.
He is very passionate about contributing to development of the healthcare industry in Uganda, empowering people to reach their full potential, networking and building high performance teams.

Relatedly, Patrick Jackson Kintu who has been serving as the Executive Director, has retired from the Hospital effective 01 July.
