Byarugaba, a winner of the Public Sector Award in the ACCA and Deloitte organised CFO Awards 2022, Byarugaba highlights the need for CFOs to get out of their comfort zones and stay ahead of the pack if they are to adequately discharge this kind of higher calling. He also speaks about the increasing challenges of finding people with the right mix of skills as well as the need for finance schools to step up to the challenge of creating future-ready CEOs, after all that future is already here.
