The new facility, located in the city of Lira, began its operations on July 10th, 2023. The C-Care network now has three medical facilities in northern Uganda, in Gulu, Arua and now Lira.
C-CARE Uganda organised a free health camp to mark its inauguration, offering essential services such as HIV screening, Hepatitis B screening, and free doctor consultations. The camp provided vital services to the community, focusing on HIV screening and Hepatitis B screening, doctor’s consultation. Early detection and timely treatment can significantly improve health outcomes for individuals affected by these conditions.
