CPA Dativa Nabimanya is the Managing Partner, DATIVA & Associates CPA and a Financial Management Consultant with World Bank
She is a Member of Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU), and a Fellow of ACCA. She holds an MBA and she is an Alumni of the Maastricht School of Management since 2005.
CPA Nabimanya serves on the Audit Committee of the Uganda National Examinations Board.
She prides herself in her ability to provide leadership to DATIVA & Associates, a CPA firm with over thirteen years of practice in Uganda. The firm provides services in fields of Audit /Assurance, Accounting and Management Consulting; Tax, HR Consulting and Monitoring & Evaluation. I have mentored and nurtured young professionals in our firm to become reputable consultants in accounting and related fields.
The firm has been able to deliver quality service to a wide range of clients – Private and Public Sector / Government; Not-For-Profit organisations (NFPOs) and Offshore clients.
During her time of service in the accountancy profession, she has been able to provide mentorship to young accountants through internships and graduate training and many have succeeded in their roles and careers. She has mentored colleagues that have been able to start their own CPA firms, and this keeps her motivated. She also conduct mentorship for some colleagues in practice to enable them improve leadership and quality in their practices.
In 2019, the firm was awarded the ACCOUNTING FIRM OF THE YEAR ACCOLADE’ by ICPAU in recognition of the outstanding contribution to the accountancy profession in Uganda during the 2019 Accountancy Service Awards.
