A PhD in Transport Economics and a master’s degree in Transport Planning: Meet Dr Eng Andrew Naimanye, Uganda Road Fund’s Executive Director
Dr. Eng. Naimanye the new URF Executive Director holds a PhD in Transport Economics; a master’s degree in Transport Planning and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; all obtained of the University of Leeds. His engineering career spans over 20 years on the European and African continents.
Dr Eng Andrew Naimanye is the new Executive Director for the Uganda Road Fund (URF).
Dr Naimanye, who has been in the acting position since November 2019, joined the Fund in 2010 as the pioneer Head of Programmes where he is credited with overseeing road maintenance work plans financing amounting to UGX3.2 trillion and ensuring there was value for money.
